A lot of people talk about being able to set your own schedule as one of the big advantages of online learning. This is true, provided that you can actually fit the course into your schedule. Remember that an online course will take as much of your time as a regular course would. If you don't have time for a regular course then you don't have time for an online course.

There are lots of free courses that you can sign up for; this can be a good way to determine how well you do with online learning. Just keep in mind that the free courses are usually quite a bit easier and less involved than the courses that you pay for.
